Before we go ahead and tell you how to factory reset your TV, we’ll also provide you with some troubleshooting advice as often users find a complete reset isn’t necessary to get their TV up and running again.

Picture Problems

One of the most common faults users find with their Samsung TV is problems with the quality of the images on the screen. Thankfully, you can run a picture test to diagnose the problem.

  • Select Device Care. Then select Self Diagnosis. On some models, select Support and then select Self Diagnosis.

If the test photo is not showing correctly, check your connections. If that’s not the issue, check the signal strength. If there’s no picture test, you’ll need a qualified engineer to have a look at your TV.
